house-warming plus get together!

decided to hold a house warming
plus a get together
since we just got back from our summer holidays back home
and i must say it was a pretty good one! (:
hope everyone enjoyed themselves though, hehe

baby and I cooked for 7 of us
and the amount of food was just nice! hehe
well. i forgot to take a photo of my shephard’s pie! haha
but that went down really quick.

so did the other food of course! hehe
here’s what we got for lunch :

baby’s famous stuffed squid that was requested by our guest of honour
since she missed it the last time! hehe

BBQ plus a get together

was the first time I went for a BBQ with Baby and his army gang. hehe
was pretty fun i must say
all the jokes they talk about the army days.
quite a nice get together (:

when my girls came over!

been a while since this took place.
but only got the photos recently.
and havent got the chance to update about it! (:

after i moved into my new place.
i invited the girls over for dinner
and cooked for like 10 of us! haha
including my family of course. (:

I dont’ have the pictures of the food cause my dear pooey havent sent me yet.
so when she does.

i miss my parents.
being home for a year got me really attached to them.
and now, being away from them is not a very nice feeling.

i miss my brother.
we hang out everyday
out or at his balcony
just chit-chatting.
just having him beside me gives me comfort.
i really do miss him.

i miss my dogs.
them sitting outside my door impatiently
asking me to take them out for walks.

i miss my grams.
all their delicious food
and how they make me laugh.
seeing them happy, makes me happy.

i miss my cousins.
got to hang out alot with them last year.
very good and nice to know they are there.
(:

i miss you Jas!
though we didn’t get to meet alot.
but whenever we do.
we have so much fun and laughter.
come over soon!
so we can have some bestie time. (:

I miss all my close friends –
Val, Lynn, Queenie, Yiang, Chel, Shir, Drea, Feng
Was awesome being able to meet up with you for like meals and stuff.
COME AND VISIT ME! haha.

But fortunately.
I have my baby here with me.
at least the days are not as lonely as it was when i was here by myself.

oh so familiar

going over to Melbourne for my studies again.
excited yet can’t bear to leave home.
all the feelings are jumbled up.
not sure how or what to feel.

just found out my registration is a week later than scheduled before.
pfft.
should have checked earlier.
so can fly off a little later.
but maybe it’s a good thing.
just means I get to settle in better
and not rush and get all stressed out.

i will miss home.
miss my mum and dad and brother terribly.
the pups.
my grandmas.

i felt this way
5 years ago.
feels familiar yet feels different.
