healthy lifestyle

no. im not intending to sign up for a yoga class.
rather it has been hitting me.
during this times of stress.
that exams make me fat.
cause I dun wanna waste time going to the gym for an hour.
and think that I can revise more in that hour.
(of course, it’s more than an excuse than anything. haha)

PLUS.
i snack alot when I am studying.
when I am stress. I look for things to eat.
and I can’t stop. haha.

PLUS.
after my paper.
to make myself happy or celebrate.
we cook something nice.
and EAT TILL OUR TUMMIES ARE HAPPY.

so no doubt. exams make me fat.
But I am determined to change that
with 2 papers to go.
I am going to try to at least walk for 30-45mins everyday.
it may be difficult.
But I’m sure I can do it! haha.

and it’s winter now.
so have to layer and layer plus an extra bulky jacket so that I dun freeze my butt off. haha
so yes. RAHHHHH! (:

okie. haha.
let’s just hope I am able to keep up to my goal.
I really wanna get healthy. fit. toned. and yes.
lastly. skinny. though I know being skinny is of the least importance.
So yes. at least I put HEALTHY first! (:

Have been sick and because I’m down with a flu.
I didn’t wanna to overwork my body
andjust wanted to rest it well before i start the routine again.
So I think I’m much better and would want to see how I feel tomorrow
and maybe start on light exercises (:
Maybe just 20 mins on the bike?
we shall see!

we have had breakfast at this cafe before.
but we decided to give it another go
and we were quite happy with our meals. (:

baby’s coffee had eyes and a huge nose!

when we crave for chinese

this place never fails us
when we need some chinese food in our system. haha.
especially the roast meats.
they are ALWAYS awesome.
and you don’t really need to wait for long.
after ordering.
the food (if u order the roasts not the other things)
comes in like 5 mins! (:

Our favourite is the soy sauce chicken and the roast duck.
and you can have it with rice, dry noodles or noodle soup!
baby was craving for something soupy
cause he just recovered from his flu
so he ordered the noodle soup yesterday (:

on the side note :

Satisfaction Day 2 – COMPLETE.
yes. I did go to the gym yesterday as well.
and it felt good
just sweating it out.
even though it was a short 20 min workout.
I think I am heading in the right direction! hehe.
so i am quite proud of myself. haha.
even though my calorie output is way less than my input.
but I will get there. some day i will.

 

satisfaction: Day 1

So I kept to my word
and I went to the gym
even after a long grueling day of readings, lessons and meetings.
I got my butt off the floor
and went to the gym! (:
though it was shorter than I wanted to do.
I jogged instead of walk.
and I knew I had to start somewhere.
and I did.

now all i have to do is.
and I will
aim to improve and hit or go beyond what my goal is.

but for now.
I am really happy with myself. (:
WHEEEE!

I don’t wanna seem like im harping on this topic.
although I think I am.
I am in no position to complain that I put on 2kg
cause Baby is right.
I haven’t been gyming.
and the junk food plus alcohol ain’t exactly screaming HEALTHY.

I just want to write it here
so I can constantly remind myself.
and people can remind me as well
(please feel free to say, LIANNE. EXERCISE.anytime)
that I have stopped. looked at the situation
and decided to at least cycle/walk for 30mins a day.
starting from tomorrow.

yes the phrase " i will start tomorrow"
has also been in my conversation alot
when I’m talking about losing weight, getting healthy and eating well.

but hey. at least I’m trying yes? haha.
ah wells.
just really wanna feel good about myself.
which I dun right now.
sadly.

Family (Cousins) Day!

I always love that we get to go out and have fun
not thinking about anything that has happened
just having a great day together with family
it’s awesome!

just a fun-laughter filled day!
we went to East Coast
and it’s been ages since I’ve been there. haha
I kinda like it.
like once in a while (:

as we were really early (too excited haha)
so we headed for a light lunch first.

Mount Faber-Kent Ridge Park-Alexander Road : 4hrs walk!

Since it was the holidays
We decided to try the long walk at Mount Faber to Kent Ridge Park
and out to Alexander Road to have lunch at ABC market. haha

The walk was a total of 4 hours!
Been really long since I’ve walked almost non-stop for 4 hours!
Was a really good walk though.
After all the good food I’ve been having.
This was indeed NEEDED. haha
