happy 23rd! ♥

It was just the best 23rd birthday anyone could get. (:
Though I had uni and like meeting with my supervisor
which always ends up with me being super lost.
yesterday was just different.
I left the office feeling way better than before.
with a direction of where the project was going! hehe

the only down thing for the day was I miss my tram in the morning
just cause I couldnt cross the road in time. rah.
and I had to run after one when uni was over. hehe
not a tram-my day i suppose.

but I came home to a lovely surprise from my baby (:
flowers. on. our. bed! hehe
i was super shocked!

so pretty (: hehe
thank you thank you sweetie! hehe
you always know how to make me smile!
Baby booked a table at Bistro Vue
and it was the most awesome place
with yummilicious food. the yummiest we had for the longest time! ♥

it’s this little small restaurant
that gives a feeling like you’re in London or something. (:

gives me a very warm feeling.
i love it. hehe

a little window overlooking the kitchen (:
where the magic happens. heh

we started with fresh baked bread with french butter.
omg. haha. this was already awesome.
so you can imagine how good the meal will be.
got us really excited! hehe

the fresh baked mini baguette (:

we had red wine (shiraz) to company our food for the night. (:

now for the starters :

i couldn’t not order the garlic and parsley escargot when I saw it on the menu.
it was. just. awesome! hehe

and for the main course :

Baby had the quail with foie gras. and this was really really yummy.
it came with the jam which really went super well with the dish!

baby ordered the lamb wellington.
and OMG. haha.
this is one lamb I wouldn’t mind eating! hehe
can u see how well done it’s was cooked?
cooked to paerfection. and the lamb was really tender!
with the home-made puff pastry.
superb.

it came with this meat-stuffed tomato. hehe.
it was. divine! (:

I had the rib-eye fillet
and I was so glad I ordered it! hehe
it came with this chunky chips which was. crunchy on the outside.
and tender on the inside. haha.
I dunno how they did it. but it was one good chip! hehe

and don’t get me started on the eye fillet.
it was done to perfection!
tender. juicy. and everything you never expect! hehe

could you say YUM? hehe

and to accompany the dish.
the waiter recommended us to have some greens
and I was attracted to the curried spinach
and I was so happy we went with that
cause it was. awesome (:

Desserts :

then came the icing of the night (:

baby had chocolate souffle! hehe
and I tell you. this is one good souffle.
and you should see how my eyes almost popped out
when the waiter poured gooey chocolate into the souffle
and it rose even more!
omg! haha. I was super impressed!

baby was chocolate high by the end of the course. hehe

I ordered my favourite dessert of all time!

creme brulee (: hehe
reminded me of the one I had with kor in Paris! hehe

don’t think you can see the small specks of vanilla bean in the creme.
omg. haha there were millions!
and it was just. awesome.

it was a dream come true.
really.
thank you so much baby.
it was the best dinner I had. we had I think. (:
and a place we will surely head back on special occasions. ♥
you’re awesome!
so glad i’ve got you to celebrate this special day with me. hehe

we attempted to take it with the signboard. haha.
but just couldn’t capture it.

after dinner.
we headed to Sophia’s place.
and they surprised me too! hehe
so sweet of them. (:

she baked me a birthday cupcake! (:
OMG! hehe thank you so muchhh! hehe
it was yummy! hehe and looks awesome!

an awesome day really.
I feel really loved and cherished by everyone here
and everyone back home.
