Happy Mid Autumn!

Had a celebration at school for this special occasion
and we had mooncake making in the morning
and a few games and a shadow puppet show in the evening!
Was quite an enjoyable day though a bit tiring.
but when all is done, it felt pretty good!
 

 

Teacher Audrey was the chef teaching the children how to make the mooncake!
Good on her for volunteering to help!

it came out pretty all right for her first time making them from scratch!
mini ones, so cute la.

the teachers came up with a shadow puppet show for the story of how mid autumn festival came about
it was really good! everyone enjoyed it!

the second event for the night was fixing the puzzle! ( :
all the children enjoyed this one
and were very excited!
Good team work everyone!

then there was pomelo peeling! haha
this one needed the daddy/mummy to help. it was pretty tough! hehe
the winner : the middle mummy!

then Ms Audrey did a chinese tea demonstration!
that’s her wedding tea set! hehe

and everyone got to try the tea!
the first round is not for drinking dearies! (:

and of course
it’s not a party without fooood!
and the principal ordered HEAPS of it.
not forgetting the food the parents brought to share as well!
