yes. more food.

16 Jul

the food adventures continue! hehe (:
this time. it’s another bak chor mee.
but it’s the one that moved from Marina Square to Crawford Lane!
it’s another must go place when we’re back on vacation

1) Hill Street Tai Hwa Pork Noodles

my kueh teow dry with chilli (: ($4)
my fav!

Jane’s mee pok dry without chilli ($4)

Baby’s mee kia dry with chilli ($5)
add on more dollar for more ingredients! hehe

and nothing beats the dumpling soup! hehe

we would have had these noodles and be the happiest people on earth.
but Baby wanted to be happier (:
so he decided to try the western food next door
cause he figured we won’t have time to head back to Crawford Lane before he heads back

2) Happy Chef Western Foods

The food was cheap! for the portion size.
but could have been a tad bit better

chicken schnitzel!
only $5!!! and it was huge!

breaded mushrooms

was a bit disappointed with these small things
cause they used can mushrooms instead of fresh ones.

the inside.

but for the price.
I’m not complaining!

and for the last stop for the day.
the long awaited..

3) Rendezvous Restaurant

Nonya food anyone?
I would say go during lunch
cause we didn’t get to eat the fishball curry
which was the best curry when we had before.
the rest was still good
but with the fishball curry
could have been better! hehe (:

we had a LARGE spread (not surprising)

curry chicken thigh

sambal eggplant

sotong which was cooked really well. tender!

fried potato cakes

curry vegetables

beef rendang (very very good!)

tasty beef soup (:

can you tell from all the food we had how full we were? haha
The food is quite pricey though
but it’s worth it!

so go try them soon! (all three!)
